Cookie Policy

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include local storage, which lets a website keep information on your device so it is still there the next time you visit. Together we refer to these as “cookies” in this policy.

How Greeny uses cookies

We use cookies only for the purposes described below. We do not use them to follow you around other websites or to build advertising profiles about you.

• Strictly necessary: these keep the website working. They remember what is in your cart, keep you signed in to your account, protect the site against abuse, and record the privacy choices you have made so we do not have to ask you again.
• Consent management: these record whether you have allowed optional technologies, and let us send your decision to the services it applies to.
• Preferences: these remember things such as your search history on the site so the experience can be more convenient for you.

What is used on this site today

The following covers the website at shopgreeny.com. Everything listed here is strictly necessary for the site to function, and none of it is used for advertising.

• Your shopping cart and account details, kept on your device so your cart survives a page refresh and a return visit.
• Your privacy choices, kept on your device and sent to our store when you save them.
• A consent record set by our commerce platform when your choices are saved, so the decision is available to the storefront services.
• Checkout, which runs on our commerce platform’s own web address. That platform sets the cookies it needs to take payment and complete your order.

Advertising and analytics cookies

We do not currently load advertising, marketing, or website-analytics cookies on shopgreeny.com. Nothing is placed on your device for those purposes before you interact with the site. If we ever add a technology of that kind, it will be listed in the privacy choices centre, it will be off until you choose otherwise, and this page will be updated to reflect it.

Managing your choices

You have several ways to control cookies. You can change your preferences at any time, and you do not need our permission to do so.

• Use Your Privacy Choices to turn optional technologies on or off, or to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.
• Use your browser settings to block or delete cookies. The “Help” section of your browser explains how, and you can clear cookies stored on your device at any time.
• Enable your browser’s or extension’s Global Privacy Control signal. Where we detect that signal, we treat it as an opt-out and record your sharing choice as declined.

If you block cookies

You can block cookies through your browser, but parts of the site rely on them. Blocking everything may stop your cart from being remembered and may prevent checkout from completing.

Email preferences are separate

The switches on this site govern technologies on the website. They do not subscribe or unsubscribe you from our emails. Email preferences are managed separately and are described on our Email Preferences page.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example when we add a new service to the site. The version published here is always the current one.
